Build People And Let Them Build The Business

One thing I've learned is that once you've hit a certain point with any business (and have a model that's working), it becomes ALL ABOUT the people on your team.

The biggest limitation on businesses is the entrepreneur's ability to hire and manage a GREAT team.

If you don't learn how to do this then you'll forever be a slave to your own business and stuck at a certain size.

Steve Jobs said:

"When you’re in a start-up, the first ten people will determine whether the company succeeds or not."

It's true.

If you learn how to build a fantastic team that can run and grow the business without you - then you're in a completely different league as an entrepreneur. The vast majority never reach this point.

The only way to achieve great things is with other people. And you better make sure those people are the best.

When you have a GREAT team, you become nearly unstoppable in the game of business.
